Josephat has Over 6 years of total experience in mobile money industry (this includes supporting the platform/service, developing new products around MOBILE MONEY, managing suppliers, Managing Human Resource under M-Pesa Technology and IT Team.
Imani Mwendamseke, Chief Officer (Technology)
Imani Holds Bachelor of Science with Computer Science(Hons.) from University of Dar es Salaam, Majored Computer Science and Statistics with GPA of 4.2 out of 5, also Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) training(2011).
More than Eight years professional experience in Software Engineering, Systems Integrations, Systems maintenance and Customer Support.
Worked as a Software Developer, IT Officer and Technical Director for Different Companies including E-Wallet Africa LTD, D-Tree, INFOWISE SYSTEMS LTD since 2011 to date. Strong experience in Mobile money payment gateway, SMS gateway, dynamic USSD applications, Gaming and sports betting applications, big data manipulations and systems security. Conversant in different programming languages, project management tools and frameworks including Java, Php, JavaScript, Unix, MagicDraw UML, iReport Designer, NetBeans, IntelliJ, Maven, AndroMDA, Hibernate, Spring, Struts, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Servlets, Threads, HTTPClient.
Philbert Bagaya, Chief Officer (Operations)
Philbert Holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration and Post Graduate in Business Information Technology. He was a pioneer entrepreneur of the Mobile Company Tanzania Limited successful Franchising scheme “Community Telephone Services” He established the first community telephony outlets in Mwanza city, Geita and Bukoba municipality.
With over 14 years experiences in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) He is well versed with local technology need and solutions to address them and has experience on day to day business operations.
Frank Mlaki, Chief Officer (Commercial & Marketing)
Frank Holds Masters of Telecommunication & Computer Science 1996 – 2001 from Technical University of Lodz, Poland and Master of Business Administration, 2011 from The Open University of Tanzania. More than 17 years experience in the Telecommunications Operations and Management worked with Huawei Technologies Tanzania Co., LTD, Millicom International Cellular, MIC (TIGO), Vodacom (T) LTD.
Awarded Gold- Medal individual, for Huawei Technologies Tanzania Co, This is highest honor in Huawei I received as my contribution for turning around Huawei project for Tigo Tanzania Which was getting monthly liquidated damage {operations penalties} of 20 % from Tigo, 0% liquidate damage and start getting bonus within 2 months after I joined the project as operations director.
